The reception for this event will be held on September 10th, 2011 at 7 p.m. @ the park on 8th East and Center Street in Provo.
We will be meeting at the parking lot of the BYU Stadium between 6:00-6:30 to drive by the billboards and then we will all caravan over to the park for the reception.
At the reception there will be a poetry reading, art show, refreshments and lots of good people.
This point of this project is to delight and share in the art and poetry that is created by the people immediately around us. On September 10th we want to celebrate together with these things. This means we want YOU to bring your art and poetry to the reception. We will have a portable art gallery and poetry reading, so bring your art (preferably art that is not too heavy and easily portable) and your poems. While we eat good food, we will also look at art and listen to poems from our smart, local people. What could be better! Bring the whole family! Have your kids bring their artwork! Bring that poem you’ve always wanted to share!
